We are the Funk and Soul Collective, bringing together London Funk & Soul bands to play at venues around London. Our next event is 28th June 2026 in Soho London, at our monthly Sunday residency at the Spice of Life. Tickets from £9 plus 90p booking fee, or £12 on the door.
We formed this not for profit union of bands to promote funk and soul music in London. We host a monthly residency at the Spice of Life in Soho London. The Spice of Life is a legendary music venue where many famous musicians have played. We want to thank the Spice for believing in the union and joining us on this venture by providing sound systems, lighting and sound engineers in a space where the bands can create a groove and party the night away. So, join us and lets make the Spice of Life a go to place for Funk and Soul music in Soho: the heart of London’ night life.

The Bands
Interfunk
A high-energy Funk & Soul band with over a decade of getting London dancing. Their set blends classic funk and soul with jazz, reggae and a few modern surprises — feel-good music played with serious chops. Expect tight grooves, big vocals and a room that won’t stay still for long.
SoulFunks
Three female singers with dynamic styles deliver the best of sixties soul, and seventies funk, with a side order of reggae backed by tight rhythm and driving horn sections.
The Unfunkables
An eight piece band who play funk and soul covers in their own inimitable style. If you’re into Car Wash, Play That Funky Music, or Treat Her Right, you’ll feel right at home.
Fronted by two dynamic singers and backed by a tight rhythm section and sharp horn lines, they know exactly how to lift the room and keep the energy high. Featuring keys, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone and trumpet, this is proper live funk & Soul.
The Right Note
TRN [aka The Right Notes], a 6-piece groove machine. Featuring two versatile melodic female vocalists and a smooth rhythm section.
Our sets are fun, upbeat and very dance-friendly funky soul, Motown, R&B & a hint of disco, from ’60s to now!
Between us over 40 years+ experience and zero dull moments!
